My work is transpired from a sense of melancholic longing. I love to explore the aftermath of events, the endings of stories; or most often, a random thought gestated within the theme of a lonely, post-apocalyptic world. The environment of this world is cold but lively, it whispers stories and unearthed history of the past. I love lores.
I also love the anatomy of the human body. Inspired by the arts of H.R Giger and the colors of Victo Ngai, I aim to formulate a concoction of my own, one I can play freely with the language of shapes and details while coating it with a sandy, plastic-like texture. I love Sci-fi.
My aesthetic lies in the essence of expressive shapes rather than realistic representation. The story is the soul of an illustration, even the simplest pebble should wear on it the touch of time that is logical to the world around it.
